HIGHLAND VALLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
A = Adults, Y = Youth, C = Children
A: Various instruments are used as soloists or to accompany choir selections during the year and special music for the seasons of Christmas and Easter. Anyone interested in sharing their gifts is invited to serve in this capacity.
C: This group of children, ages 3rd through 6th grade, will sing praises in a fun, upbeat setting in the Music Room. They will meet on Sunday at 5:00 pm.
A: The Grace Notes Choir is our senior adult choir that enjoys singing familiar hymns. The choir is in service to others; visiting the nursing homes, and bringing cheer to many. All you need to do to join is enjoy music, have a good spirit and a willingness to share in great fellowship with others. Grace Notes meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 10:00am.
A: Handbells are used at Highland Valley in a variety of services, many times during special services. Stay "tuned" for announcements regarding Handbell Choir rehearsal times.
A/Y: The Chancel Choir reaches out through music to share the word of God in worship and with each other in a community of Fellowship. The level of musicianship varies among our members from strong music readers to those who do not read at all. The only requirement is a love to sing and willingness to share. The choir meets for rehearsal each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm and leads the music at the 10:45 service on Sunday mornings, as well as special seasonal programs. Childcare is provided.
