United Women in Faith
The purpose of the UWF is to know God, to study, share devotionals, provide fellowship and nurture. The UWF is more than just a club — they are a group of women sharing a joyful faith in God and a sincere, dedicated desire to carry out the mission of the UWF in our church as they support mission and outreach both worldwide and locally. Several members visit shut-ins, nursing homes, and hospitals; we have programs and speakers to increase our spiritual growth and knowledge of the world we live in; and we work together on projects to raise funds which enable us to be much more active in mission and outreach locally and worldwide.
Many of the UWF members have lives packed full of activity and obligations — they juggle jobs, family, friends and other commitments — and may, at times, feel overburdened with the woman's role of caregiver. The United Women in Faith of Highland Valley offer significant fellowship and a supportive community to affirm one's own sense of purpose and commitment to God. We invite you to come join us in our efforts to become whole persons in voluntary service to others.
